Performance, comfort and visibility enhancements
The Bobcat M2-Series skid-steer loaders offer an enhanced cab with an automatic ride control option and new front and rear cab isolators, door seals and side screen dampers to reduce vibration and noise. A redesigned top window offers improved visibility with a 34 percent increase in open area that makes it easier to see high-sided truck loading. Also available is an optional side lighting kit for increased visibility when working at night. A reversing fan option allows operators to temporarily reverse the cooling fan direction for several seconds to blow dust and small debris from the radiator and rear screens. This helps minimize downtime and can reduce the cooling area cleaning frequency.

Built for big attachments
The new Case SV340 skid-steer loader is the most powerful skid-steer loader model introduced by Case Construction Equipment. It is rated at 3,400 pounds operating capacity and a bucket breakout force of 9,531 pounds. The vertical-lift skid-steer provides extra power and performance with a stronger lift arm, H-link and upper chassis. The machine also offers auxiliary hydraulics with enhanced high flow of 35 gpm at 4,000 psi or optional high flow at 38.7 gpm at 3,450 psi, offering excellent power and attachment versatility. With new heavy-duty 14 x 17.5 tires and additional counterweights, the SV340 is the ideal operating platform for more advanced attachments such as cold planers, tree spades and stump grinders. The skid steer is compatible with more than 250 attachments, including the new Case sectional snow pushers, buckets, forks, brooms, rakes and more.

Skid-steer loader remote control
TORC Robotics and Caterpillar announce the availability of the RemoteTask remote control system for Cat D Series skid-steer loaders and other compact equipment.
It enables operators to precisely control the machines from up to 1,000 feet away. The RemoteTask controls feature virtually no lag in machine response time, so the remote operator’s performance is as fast and smooth as in-cab operation. The intuitive remote control interface is designed to closely mimic in-cab machine controls, creating an easy operator transition from in-cab to remote operation. It only takes about an hour for a Cat dealer to install the RemoteTask system and the machine can transition from manual to remote mode at the turn of a key switch. The system is completely transferrable between units.

Two new models
JCB now offers the 210 radial-lift skid-steer loader with a base rated operating capacity (ROC) of 2,100 pounds and the JCB 215 vertical lift model with an ROC of 2,150 pounds. The operating capacity of both models can be increased 200 pounds with an optional counterweight kit. The units allow operators to take full advantage of the high-flow auxiliary hydraulic circuit that delivers 30 gpm to power a range of high-flow attachments such as cold planers, augers and trenchers. The models are the first in JCB’s small-frame skid-steer line to be powered by the JCB by Kohler 74 horsepower engine, which offers a 20 percent increase in horsepower yet requires no diesel particulate filter (DPF). The units are Stage III B/Tier 4 Final-compliant. The models feature JCB’s unique single PowerBoom design with exclusive side door entry, resulting in unparalleled safety, 60 percent better visibility and a 46 percent larger cab than competitive models in this size class, JCB sources report.

Large-frame skid-steer loaders
The new John Deere large-frame G-Series skid steer loaders offer users more productivity, better visibility and simplified service. The 330G and 332G skid-steer loaders’ new vertical-lift loader boom design have a height-to-hinge pin of 11 feet. The units have rated operating capacities of up to 3,700 pounds and 40 percent greater breakout force. Increased auxiliary hydraulic flow and power can power a wide range of attachments. The Universal Quik-Tatch system allows going from bucket to forks and more in seconds. The cabs offer an easy-access entryway, tightly sealed swing-out door, ample foot and legroom and best-in-class visibility that gets even better with an optional rearview camera. An optional LED lighting package provides front and side illumination. Controls can switch between standard EH ISO controls (EH), ISO joystick controls or optional switchable ISO- and H-patterns or EH 3-way switchable controls.

Kubota SSV series skid steers
Kubota has diversified its construction equipment line with the introduction of two skid-steer loaders, the SSV65 and SSV75. With standard two-speed travel and optional high-flow hydraulics, the units offer a rated operating capacity of 1,950 pounds and 2,690 pounds, respectively. Both models feature a unique, slide-up, front-entry door that raises overhead, a side light for better visibility and safe night operation, and a spacious cabin with climate control. An optional multi-function lever is available, allowing for fingertip control of major machine and implement functions.

Compact skid-steer loaders
Manitou Americas introduces the Gehl R105 and Mustang 1050R skid-steer loaders with the lowest ROPS height in the industry at 70.3 inches and a machine width of 48.4 inches, Manitou sources report. At 4,000 pounds, these compact skid loaders can be trailered behind a truck. The radial-lift machines are powered by a 34.7 horsepower Yanmar Tier 4 Final engine and feature a heavier built chassis and lift arms for more strength and reliability. The models can be outfitted with T-Bar/hands-only or hand/foot controls. The units have a rated operating capacity of 1,050 pounds, but a counterweight can increase capacity to 1,175 pounds. A wide, open door offers full rear engine accessibility for maintenance. The R105 and 1050R come with the Push to Operate display and can use a wide variety of attachments.

Electric skid-steer loader
The environmentally friendly and compact Sherpa 100 Eco skid-steer loader from Triple E Equipment can do the physically demanding indoor work that previously required manual labor. It is extremely quiet and doesn’t produce unpleasant exhaust fumes. The 24-volt lead-acid battery-powered unit weighs 1,561 pounds and is just under 32 inches wide. It has a breakout force of 1,851 pounds and can operate up to eight hours between charges and fully charges overnight.

Takeuchi-US offers the TS80 skid-steer loader with a radial or vertical loader configuration. The large-frame loaders are powered by a Deutz 74 horsepower Final Tier 4 engine with a maintenance-free diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) that does not require regeneration, cleaning or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF). The TS80R2 radial-lift model has an operating weight of 7,950 pounds; rated operating capacity of 2,825 pounds; bucket breakout force of 5,845 pounds; lift arm force of 7,080 pounds and a maximum hinge pin height of 10 feet 5 inches. The TS80V2 vertical lift model has an operating weight of 8,965 pounds; rated operating capacity of 3,500 pounds; bucket breakout force of 5,920 pounds; lift arm force of 6,200 pounds and a maximum hinge pin height of 10 feet 10 inches. They offer easy operator entry and exit and can be outfitted with ride control, bucket positioning and high-flow auxiliary hydraulics.

Single loader arm improves visibility
The Volvo MC115C skid-steer loaders feature a single loader-arm design that improves visibility and allows side-entry door access.
