Perkins Appoints New VP
Perkins has appointed Chris Snodgrass as its vice president of global sales, marketing service and aftermarket parts. Snodgrass is the company's first vice president who will have offices in Texas, the UK and China.
Snodgrass will head up all commercial activities for Perkins engines, sold both direct and through the company's global distribution network. He's responsible for the service and parts group, focused on ensuring consistently exceptional levels of customer service and support, the company stated.
To build upon its focus on customer support, Snodgrass has created four new positions within the sales and marketing team:
- Jasbir (Jaz) Gill as Director of Global OEM Direct Account Sales.
- David Nicoll, Director of Global Marketing and Dealer Operations, leading the development of the Perkins distribution network.
- Doug Mihelick, Director of Global Service and Customer Support
- Bill Giunta as the Sales Business Process Manager, a role which will focus on delivering continued process improvements for customers and distributors.
Continuing to lead Perkins regional and distribution sales and also reporting into Snodgrass are:
- Andy Zuckerman, Director of Regional Sales and Distribution, Americas
- Daniel (Dan) Bentley, Director of Regional Sales and Distribution, Asia Pacific
- Trevor Toulson, Director of Regional Sales and Distribution, EAME & CIS
- Michael Wright, Director of Global Aftermarket Parts
