Husqvarna Acquires Diamond Tool Supply
Husqvarna's Construction division has aquired Diamond Tool Supply, Inc. (DTS), a producer of polishing and grinding diamond tools for concrete, stone and terrazzo. Based on last year's performance, the tool company will add about $5.8 million in sales to the division.
The acquisition "reinforces our psotion as a market leader," says Henric Andersson, president of Husqvarna Construction Products. And brings with it "a strong customer base that will continue to support and expand, as well as manufactuirng operations in Bulgaria, both clear assets to our diamond tool business."
Michigan-based DTS has about 70 employees.
