Manitou Americas' "Next Big Thing" Dealer Event
Manitou Americas held its "Next Big Thing" dealer event last month at the company's West Bend, Wis., headquarters. More than 190 people attended from dealerships throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The event included an award ceremony, recognition dinner and facility tours, including the company's R & D center. in North America. New product introductions followed at the Washington County Fair Grounds, where more than 30 Gehl, Mustang and Manitou machines were paraded around the exposition center then parked for dealers to walk-around and ask questions of product experts, product managers and executive management.
Gehl and Mustang announced the addition of two large capacity Articulated Loaders. New products on display for Manitou were the Truck Mounted Forklift TMT 55 and the MH/MSI Series Semi-Industrial Forklifts. Product demonstrations, break-out sessions, and corporate wide presentations were also part of the program.
"The event was an overall success, from the turnout out of our dealer network to the collaboration between our corporate team making it all happen," said Eric Burkhammer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Manitou Americas. "I feel our dealers not only left with a greater knowledge of our corporate history, product offerings, and the future direction of our company, but most importantly they were exposed to most of our corporate team, meeting the right people for continued day to day business support."
