Designed for high-efficiency cutting and mulching, these attachments help tackle overgrown areas and reduce forested terrain.
Featuring strategically placed ribs on the bite-limiter drum, the latest mulchers restrict the depth of chisel tooth penetration into harder materials. This design minimizes the risk of stalling while delivering a finer, more consistent cut. The HM608, HM810, and HM912 maintain cutting diameters of 5 to 6 inches, reducing thick brush and woody material to shreds.
A built-in thumb bracket allows the operator to push or pull material to the optimal mulching position, or clear of the work area. On select Cat mini excavator models, the machine thumb can be used in tandem with the mulcher’s integrated thumb bracket to pick up material, offering full control over material handling.
The HM912 hydraulic mulcher can work a width of 1.2 meters and is designed to utilize the full auxiliary flow of the 9-ton Cat mini excavator. This machine features a dedicated auxiliary flow that is not shared with other implements. It can handle flow up to 37 gpm, resulting in a high drum speed of 2,931 rpm.
By pairing the HM912 with the 9 Ton Cat MHE, operators can unlock a powerful combination of maximum flow capacity and bite-limiter precision.
