This 9,000- to 10,000-pound class machine offers more horsepower, increased rated operating capacity (ROC) and high fuel efficiency, making it an even more compelling solution for diverse material handling challenges. The V-Drive transmission moves beyond the traditional hydrostatic two-speed, two-gear system; it features a continuous variable (CV) transmission that eliminates the need for manual gear shifting. This translates to smoother, quieter and more efficient operation, allowing operators to seamlessly transition from low to high speeds without interruption.
The V-Drive system is engineered with intelligent features to maximize productivity and minimize running costs with these features:
- It automatically conserves fuel and reduces emissions by temporarily shutting down the engine during idle periods, instantly restarting when the operator re-engages the machine.
- A maximum speed limiter empowers owners to set a top speed, optimizing fuel consumption and enhancing job site safety.
- The ECO-Ride feature reduces noise, fuel consumption and emissions by intelligently lowering engine speed once the desired travel speed is stabilized.
- Cruise control alleviates operator fatigue on longer tasks, further boosting fuel economy by maintaining a consistent travel speed, adjustable via the joystick.
The TL923 has four distinct steering modes: all-wheel steer, front-wheel steer, crab steer and semi-crab steer. Complementing this, the advanced attachment mode allows operators to set optimal engine speed for attachment operation independently from desired travel speed, which is ideal for specialized tools like soil conditioners or angle brooms. The TL923 also features a standard power quick-tach mounting system, enabling quick and safe non-hydraulic attachment changes without leaving the cab.
Operator will be comfortable with the spacious cab with high visibility, excellent ergonomics, a comfortable heated suspension seat and efficient heat and air conditioning.
