Movex Innovation has updated its Minidozer M-48 material handler. Now equipped with IP67 waterproofing and advanced Float Mode coming in Winter 2026, sources report the Minidozer M-48 sets a new standard for safety, durability, and versatility in the rental industry.
Originally engineered for the mining and heavy industries, the Minidozer M-48 is designed to perform where conventional skid steers and loaders cannot. Its ultra-low 22.5-inch profile allows operators to work efficiently in box culverts, pipes, and other confined spaces. With its all-electric drive system, the M-48 operates at zero emissions, making it ideal for confined job sites where diesel exhaust and noise are restricted.
The newly upgraded IP67 rating ensures that the Mindozer can withstand dust and water exposure, including temporary submersion of up to 10 inches, and harsh job site conditions, extending its durability and reliability for rental centers. This added protection reduces downtime, lowers maintenance costs, and provides peace of mind for both rental stores and their customers.
The new Float Mode will allow the M-48’s bucket or blade to follow ground contours naturally, increasing productivity during cleanup and backfilling tasks. Operators can activate or deactivate Float Mode as needed, making the M-48 adaptable to a wide range of tasks. This enhancement coming in 2026 will make operation smoother and more intuitive, enabling rental customers to complete jobs faster and with less operator fatigue. Combined with the machine’s intuitive remote-control system with a range of up to 300 feet, the M-48 delivers unmatched safety and efficiency in difficult environments.
