Case compact track loader

Compact track loader
The Case TR270 compact track loader is a Tier 4 Final 74-horsepower model with 7,270 pounds of breakout force and a rated operating capacity of 2,700 pounds. The radial-lift arm and hinge-pin height are ideal for loading trucks; the electro-hydraulic system has 9 preset speed and control settings that adjust on the fly. It easily switches between the Case “H” operating and ISO pattern controls. The dozer-style undercarriage is stable on slopes, muddy and sandy terrain. With fewer moving parts than suspension-track systems, it offers greater durability and is easy to maintain, sources report. The cab is nearly 3 feet wide; an optional enclosed cab is fully sealed and pressurized against noise, dust and fumes and provides excellent visibility and easy cab entrance and exit. Service access is easy at the rear of the machine and an easy-tilt cab simplifies drivetrain access.

Productive mini skid-steer
Charles Machine Works Co. adds the Ditch Witch SK1550, its largest and most powerful mini skid-steer model. Powered by a 44-horsepower Tier 4 Yanmar diesel engine, it has an available auxiliary flow for low, medium and high settings to match attachment requirements. Its 1,558-pound rated operating capacity is more than 50 percent greater than other mini skid-steers in its size class. A 94-inch hinge-pin height provides loading and unloading flexibility. With a very smooth ride, it can travel up to 4.7 mph in forward and reverse. Optional dual-auxiliary connections can power advanced attachments for better productivity and it can handle heavier loads, such as logs, trees or sod. It is available with standard dual-lever ground drive or single joystick controls. It has no daily grease points, which simplifies maintenance and reduces total cost of ownership.

Compact track loader
+ telescopic boom

JCB has combined compact track loader features with a telescopic boom to create the JCB Teleskid track loader that can reach 60 percent farther forward than any other skid steer on the market. It can dig below its chassis up to 3 feet and lift to 13 feet, reaching 8 percent higher than any other skid steer model, JCB sources report, and say the Teleskid can do the work of a telescopic handler, masted forklift, compact loader and a skid-steer loader. Its unique bucket-levelling system allows the bucket position to be maintained throughout the boom’s range of movement. JCB’s myChoice software allows control responsiveness and joystick sensitivity to be tailored to suit operator preferences. The 74-horsepower JCB Ecomax engine provide high torque at a low speed while meeting Tier 4 Final/Stage IIIB standards.

Toro Dingo compact track loader

1,000-pound capacity
compact track loader
The Toro Company recently added the Dingo TX 1000, the largest compact track loader unit in its line. It has a rated operating capacity exceeding 1,000 pounds and when the loader arms are fully extended, the hinge pin measures 81 inches from the ground to easily reach over the side of dumpsters and one-ton trucks. Its vertical-lift loader arm design keeps the load closer to the machine so the operator can lift more weight and it increases the reach at full height to make dumping more efficient. The vertical path of the lift arms works well in vertical applications with an auger or concrete breaker. The narrow-track model weighs 2,610 pounds; the wide-track model weighs 2,790 pounds.

Expanded track loader line
Volvo Construction Equipment completes its line of compact track loaders with the launch of the MCT110C model with a rated operating capacity of 2,250 pounds. Its 74-horsepower Tier 4 Final engine cuts emissions while increasing fuel economy without the need for a diesel particulate filter. It has two easy-to-read cab consoles and offers a three-level sensitivity control to match performance to the application. The operator can select ISO- or H-pattern control operation. The machine automatically idles if controls aren’t operated for five seconds, reducing fuel consumption, running costs and job-site noise. An optional reversible fan can automatically clean the cooling system. Service through the forward-tilting ROPS/FOPS cab and large rear compartment service door makes maintenance access convenient. Engaging the loader arm support is a one-person job and the single-tower loader arm and large top window improves visibility during truck loading or operating in congested areas. The unit can be equipped with a wide range of attachments.
