PacWest Machinery to build on Portland site

Pacific Northwest dealer for Volvo and other major brands, has acquired land and begun construction of a new facility in Portland, Ore.


The company expects to open the new facility in the first quarter of 2017. The new 22,000-square-foot building will sit on approximately six acres and will include a 10-bay service center. The site will have an expanded parts warehouse, modern showroom and service capability, with space for stocking more equipment, demos and training. The dealership will deliver products in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

PacWest Machinery is the newest Volvo Construction Equipment dealer in North America and has responsibility for sales, rental and aftermarket support for the full line of Volvo’s general production, road machinery and compact equipment.

The company supplies equipment from other manufacturers such as Tymco, Gomaco, Etnyre, Furukawa and others. PacWest Machinery has four locations in Portland and Eugene, Ore., Seattle and Spokane, Wash., plus support from an extensive mobile service fleet.
