Bomag announces vice president of sales and marketing
Shawn Sweet brings more than 27 years of industry experience.
Bomag Americas, Inc. adds Shawn Sweet as vice president sales and marketing. Sweet will be responsible for the leadership of the Bomag dealer and rental sales teams, marketing, product management and for developing new business opportunities.

Shawn is well-known in the construction industry with more than 27 years of experience. The first 17 years of his career was spent in various capacities at Ingersoll Rand Company where he was instrumental in the growth of its road machinery business. Shortly after the acquisition by Volvo of the IR road machinery business, Shawn spent seven years as the business unit president for Doosan Infracore Portable Portable Power; most recently he spent the past three years as vice-president and COO of Volvo dealer ASC Construction Equipment.

Sweet will join the Bomag team August 1, 2017 and will operate out of its new North American headquarters located in Ridgeway, South Carolina.
