Host hotels for STAFDA's 41st Annual Convention and Trade Show sold out
All three of STAFDA’s host hotels in Austin are sold out, however, STAFDA will continue to add hotels.
Hotel bookings are tight in Austin that weekend because there’s a football game Saturday, November 11 at 5 p.m. between the University of Texas and Kansas. The stadium is only a few miles from downtown, which makes all hotel guestrooms in downtown Austin running at capacity levels.
The Courtyard/Residence Inn, across from the Austin Convention Center, is offering STAFDA rooms from Saturday, November 11 through Wednesday, November 15. The rate is $229/night and includes free internet; the hotels share a pool and fitness center. Guests at the Residence Inn have a breakfast buffet included in their room rate. The properties share Champion’s, a full-service restaurant/sports bar and an onsite Starbuck’s. There are 40 rooms available at the Courtyard and 60 at the Residence Inn. The Sheraton Austin is in the process of being added. The rate will be $209/night along with complimentary guest room internet and 50 percent off self parking.
